This course aims to provide students with analytical frameworks to examine health policy issues, their impacts and implicationsfor individual patients and populations; To equip students with foundational knowledge of research methods to support their capstone projects, including approaches for designing and disseminating policy-relevant research; and To provide students opportunities to interface with scholars who have real-world health policy impact through policy research, decision-making, development, implementation, evaluation, and advocacy.
